About

Laura Donovan, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and neuro-oncologist who specializes in treating brain and spinal tumors.

Dr. Donovan is an associate professor in the Department of Neurology with a joint appointment in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Donovan serves as co-director of the Neuro-Oncology Program and medical director of the Brain Tumor Center at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Before joining Emory, she served as a neuro-oncologist and assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She was also previously an attending physician at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.

Dr. Donovan earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed her internal medicine residency at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, followed by a neurology residency at Columbia University and a neuro-oncology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in New York.
