The meeting was almost 40 minutes lateThere was no communication about why provider was lateWhen she showed up she explained that there some sort of challenge with another patient After 30 minutes I called department to inquire about what was happening I was put on holdThen the provider showed up for the meeting-in just under 40 minutes from time of appointment Provider apologized for being lateI indicated that I thought it unacceptable that the system did not prompt anyone to contact me to let me know what was going on or to cancel meetingIn spite of provider's apology I find the experience unacceptable and the treatment discourteous The system needs to be reconsidered so that what happened to me does not happen again
