About
Noble M. Maleque, MD, FHM, FACP is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine, Associate Program Director for the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Medical Student Osler Society Advisor at Emory University’s School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed his undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, and his medical training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals followed by a year as Chief Resident at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He is board certified in internal medicine. In the Department of Medicine, Dr. Maleque serves on the department’s Residency Leadership Committee, Residency Clinical Competency Committee and chairs the Core Competency Improvement Committee. He was awarded the Division of Hospital Medicine Education Award in 2012 and the Teaching Award 2014. He was inducted into the Department’s Academy of Medical Educators in 2015. His interests include medical education and quality improvement. He completed the Intermountain Healthcare Advanced training program in health care delivery improvement. He participates on the Division of Hospital Medicine Quality council and has served on Society of Hospital Medicine Quality and Patient safety committee. Dr. Maleque does his clinical practice as a hospitalist at Emory University Hospital Midtown. He is involved with Medical Practice committee and has worked with interdisciplinary groups to promote the Care Transformation model at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
