Dr. Tso is an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Transplantation at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Tso earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland, completed his general surgery residency at Louisiana State University, did his fellowship in traumatology and critical care at the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems, and completed his fellowship in transplantation at Ohio State University. Dr. Tso's clinical specialties are dual renal transplant, islet transplant, pancreatic transplant, and live donor nephrectomy. His primary research pursuits are developing methods of increasing the donor organ pool and evaluating policies of organ allocation.
