Top doctor, no question! I have been with Dr. Baird since he started practicing medicine. That is 25 years ago! I will be with him for another 10 years until he retires.

Doctor noted slight bilateral carotid bruits during my annual wellness visit. A referral was made to Emory Vascular Lab for a bilateral ultrasound which was located on the floor above his office. Upon going to the Vascular Lab Immediately after my annual wellness visit, the bilateral carotid ultrasound was done within the next 30 minutes. Now, that was excellent service.

This was a standard annual wellness check and I felt good. I could have easily decided that visit wasn't necessary. Fortunately, I didn't since my heart rate was at 145 although I felt totally normal. Dr. Baird referred me to a Cardialogist who immediately referred me to the ER. It took 12 days in ICU to finally get the heart rate down to normal in order to do a cardiacablation which was very successful. My heart is now operating normally.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Baird. He was incredibly patient and helpful in dealing with not just me but family that came as well. The visit was supposed to be 20 minutes but coincidentally I had been hospitalized unexpectedly the Saturday before the appointment. Remarkably he had already reviewed the extensive hospital record which included a number of significant tests. As a result of the unexpected hospitalization, the appointment ended up lasting almost an hour which must have ruined his schedule. But he never acted as though was keeping him from others. It was just such an appreciated approach that it is hard to fully describe how grateful I feel

I think Dr. Baird is a role model for physicians. He is best Doctor I have visited over 30 years. I feel he spoke to me in a very condescending manner when I told him I was concerned that I was contagious; he replied "you are contagious"I realize the cold & flu viruses are contagious, and that is precisely why I wore my maskI was mainly concerned about infecting others with COVID1-19 or STREP.

I have been working with Dr. Paul Baird for years. I cannot say enough good things about him, he is informative, listens well, overall great bedside manner.

Dr Baird is from my encounter is a kind man who enjoys his job. He listened and I felt dug deep enough to acknowledge it could be a couple different things. I'd love to make him my primary doctor but unfortunately he's too full at this time. I'd love a recommendation of another well qualified doctor. Dr Gonay in Duluth is my primary and I haven't ever even seen her at my last 3 physicals nor have I ever met her. She was my late wife's primary and she was less than impressed as well. This was my best trip to an Emory facility since the days I used to see Dr Jarrett and Dr X probably 20 years ago. The St Joseph emergency room is a place I will never set foot in again. Horribly run by uncaring people. We are usually happy with everyone in this building as my wife used to visit often. The hospital needs to be reimagined!
