Dr talked to my husband the whole time- I felt I was not even in the room. Had pre set her mind on one course of care. Made me feel insignificant. Went in to talk about increased neuropathy - She never once checked feet or was concerned. Wants to send me to addition clinic after asking for a refill of a prescription that stated there where 5 refills on it

Dr Aia is one of a kind! She not only listen's, we don't feel as if she is trying to rush us out of the office. This is important as we travel 2+ hrs to get to see her. Her friendly demeanor helps to allow us to relax and listen more closely to her. I always learn and appreciate the time that we get to spend with her.

Dr Aia is the only doctor I have ever had that takes into account all of my health issues and tells me how all my medications work together or against each other and what's the best way to proceed with medical decisions. She's so smart, kind and empathetic! I would recommend her to anyone that has brain movement disorders.

This is my 2nd time with Dr Aia. Both times I was after my 830 appointment. I get botox treatment. Therefore I have to numb my area before treatment. The needle hurt my eyelids. I had to get off the table and reapply cream because either the medicine worn off from the long wait for Dr Aia. I numb my area 3 times to make sure I don't feel any needle points and I did anyway. I never had issue with feeling the needle unless the mess exp. This was a new tube of cream.

Dr. Aia was very rude and unprofessional during the tele-med visit. She displayed a lack of concern for my mother's condition and the need to answer our questions properly. There was an obvious lack of attention to the specific needs we attempted to discuss.

Dr. Aia is an exemplary doctor. She is an expert in her field who is very familiar with all aspects of our family member's neurological disease. Speaking with Dr. Aia is always such a relief, because we are finally speaking with someone who has superior knowledge and understanding about this neurological disease, communicates very effectively, and displays a positive and caring demeanor at all times. We are so fortunate and grateful that Dr. Aia is the neurologist who is assigned to our loved one, especially during these advanced stages that present unique challenges on a frequent basis. We are also very thankful that we can meet with Dr. Aia via video visit, due to the very lengthy drive that an in-person visit would require. Although we were able to do this for many years and our loved one always looked forward to in-person appointments with Dr. Aia, a long road trip for an in-person visit would be very difficult for our family member at this stage of his neurological disease. Special thanks to Dr. Aia, Emory Neurology, and Emory Healthcare for making this visit possible.

I was impressed with her concern with my potential problems from my having to be sedated annually with my potential situation and how I could prevent it by using a rechargeable DBS battery with an estimated 15 year life vs my current one time use battery with 1 to 2 year life. I have 2 implanted in my chest.
