Rachel listened and then completely did something opposite of what we discussed for pain management. I've never misused a medication and for her to treat me or any patient like we have or will misuse them is unacceptable and to deny pain medication and micromanage it to the degree she has proposed Will Not work for me. I will not see her again. All of my future appointments will need to be with my doctor, not someone who has no concept of how to manage pain, especially when she could clearly see I have another appointment with her in less than 30 days. I will not be keeping that appointment with her.
The best of the best! I can't say enough good things about her. Well worth the 10 hour round trip drive to see someone at Emory!
Rachel is so lovely. I love her mannerisms. I had my son in the room with me and my daughter who lives in Connecticut on the phone, and she made sure to include them and answer questions they had too.

Everything was great. A day later I discovered a burn in the site and realized that the spray used to numb the area gave me a freeze burn. It was was painful and bothersome. That was an unexpected consequence. Otherwise it was excellent.

Care and understanding was great. I had an adverse reaction to the injections after leaving and sitting in traffic for an hour. My legs did not function for about 5 minutes after exiting the car. I couldn't walk.

Resident and Attending suggested a lot of medication changes that remain a little unclear as to the need for them and without enough explanation about what the added meds are expected to do. We asked questions but felt rushed to accept the suggestions. Most of the suggestions were on an as needed basis so we decided not to continue questions.
