About

Rebecca Seidel, MD is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist and Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and completed both her diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship in breast imaging at Emory.

Dr. Seidel specializes in breast imaging and interventions. She has expertise in mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI and image-guided biopsies of the breast. She is passionate about early detection of breast cancer, and she advocates for breast cancer patients through her service on the board of Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta.  Dr. Seidel also serves on a number of national committees of the American College of Radiology and American Association of Women in Radiology, focusing on physician well-being and women in radiology.  She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys exercise and outdoor adventure.
