I have been seeing thisprovider for about a decade. I always had the feeling that I was managing my own care and he was there just to prescribe medication.

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2026-02-26

The provider was not on the phone two minutes with me. I really did not sleep the night of my study. I was surprised that, that was not discussed.

Great Dr.

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2026-01-27

The appointment lasted no more than 10 minutes. He responded to questions but did not offer any of his own,

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2026-01-25

Just don't think he has a good understanding of the CPAP equipment, or what It Is like having to use It. Thus wasn't able to speak with a sense of what to expect or with authority of what to do under the circumstances I found myself in. No real curiosity into what I might be feeling, and why, or what to do

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-05-21

Dismissing knowledgeable patient concerns and minimizing possible issues they bring up is not a way to build rapport, respect and trust. I had to insist on getting answers for an issue and push for the doctor to take next steps that could've easily been offered. While they may not rate high in urgency for him, a thorough look into why my sleep has been poor impacts my chronic illnesses, daily pain levels, and other issues that are deeply impactful for me.

Provider had good bedside manner and was thorough as I wanted a second opinion. However, he recommended a medicine change and instead of writing a script, he referred me back to my original doctor which is frustrating.

Unfortunately, I felt the appointment was rushed (even if it's online). I didn't get to ask anything. The appointment was over within five minutes (and was supposed to be at least 40 minutes).

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-09

I seemed he had a routine approach and was not really including me in the treatment. Wanted me change meds. Also stated he did not have something within the medical records I had requested from my previous sleep specialist I had requested from them and ask if I had it with me. I was not aware anything was missing. Why doesn't he/his office request the missing parts themselves? How can he treatment without a complete history on me. I can't really trust his recommendations at this point.

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-08

Even if he could not help he didn't offer any other options but I'm gonna try the medication. I feel like there can be more help.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-02-22

Appreciate you!

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-01-31

Doctor seemed super rushed; he maybe spent 6-7 minutes talking with me; I had to stop him from leaving so I could ask questions, and he failed to introduce who I assume to be a student or intern who was in the room with us. I ended up introducing myself after the doctor got up to leave. I told him about an issue I was having with part of my cpap apparatus, and he said I should just try a different type of fitting with zero direction about what that could be or where I could get such a thing. He was perfectly polite and a nice person, it was just so rushed that I don't feel like I had a very good interaction.

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-01-28

This doctor seemed to take one look at me and decided that I automatically needed a cpap machine. Even before he asked any questions. This is why the appointment only took 2 minutes. Also he didn't even took a look at my files cause to 2 questions he ask would of bin answered of he had look at my files.

Dr. Hoque took the time to instruct me on how to adjust the settings on the CPAP machine. He also noted that my machine was over 5 yrs old and sent in a prescription for a replacement.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2024-09-15

Dr. Romi was excellent. Appreciated his approach and discussed all options allowing me to determine, what I thought would be best for me. He didn't push me to immediately get an expensive cpap machine. We discussed preliminary options and if I decide to pursue that option, I can.

He listened to my issues but didn't really offer any other solutions to my chronic fatigue. I asked about sleep cycle and recommended deep sleep..he said the only thing that matters is hours of sleep which sounded strange to me. I left the office feeling depressed because I do not want to live my life in this state of chronic fatigue. It is interfering my personal and professional life being late not showing up etc. I cried in my car on the way home for the appointment bc I felt so depressed after that appointment. There was no follow up suggested. Nothing. I felt it was almost a waste of time.

Dr. Hogue was somewhat dismissive of my concerns about the C-Pap machine. The doctor who assists him (who I first spoke to on the call) explained it to me better and I was ready to try it. But when Dr. Hogue came on the call, he just decided that I wouldn't adjust to it and told me to "just elevate your head and sleep on your side."
