Dr Oneale is a great dr, she's very concerned about my health, she takes the time to talk to me, guide me through what the do's and the do not. Explain every details thoroughly. A great dr who doesn't see her patients as a number, but individuals who needs care

I presented with major chest congestion, a low grade temp, with a history of BOOP, AFib and pacemaker. All she did was provided nasal steroids, bloodwork abd chest X-ray. I saw Ashleigh Heath the next day who jump on my issues with proper meds as soon as she saw my condition. 3 days I was worse, did spend 5 days at Emory St Joseph's due to pneumococcal infection. McNeal dropped the ball

I liked Dr. O'Neal from a previous sick visit I had. She listened and sent me to others to address my problem. My primary had never sent me to anyone else and didn't seem to think I had a problem. So I will definitely recommend Dr. O'Neal to others. As a 67 year old woman it is very important to me to be listened to and taken seriously.

I'm only speaking of the care provider Dr O'Neale. She did prescribe some medication s for me. But the advir for my asthma she state my Dr would have to prescribe another one cause she looked over my chart. So that it was a steroid. And saw that I had a allergic reaction reaction. I was going to explain to her that was 10 to 14 years ago. But because she was so rude and snappy. I decided not to.

Never coming back. an appointment with Dr. O'Neal yesterday. The front desk staff were professional, courteous, and welcoming, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. O'Neal was very disappointing. I was seen approximately one hour past my scheduled appointment time. While this was frustrating, I was understanding, as I am also a healthcare provider and recognize that schedules can run behind. When Dr. O'Neal entered the room, her initial approach felt dismissive. I explained that I was seeking to establish primary care and that I had an MRI ordered by my orthopedic physician that revealed concerning masses outside of his scope of practice. Rather than addressing my concerns or discussing next steps, the focus immediately shifted to the age of the imaging and repeated comments about insurance coverage and the possibility of me receiving a bill.As both a physician and a patient-particularly a minority provider and minority patient-I found this approach troubling. Healthcare decisions should be based on clinical necessity, not assumptions about a patient's financial situation. This reflects the very healthcare disparities that continue to exist in underserved communities. A "seek to understand" approach would have gone a long way.Dr. O'Neal's demeanor felt rude and condescending, with a clear sense of superiority rather than partnership in care. I ultimately expressed that this would not be a good fit and chose to leave the appointment. After waiting two weeks for this visit, I left with no resolution or plan regarding the mass in my body, which was extremely concerning. I now understand why this practice has low ratings. I will not be returning to this facility, nor would I recommend it based on my experience.

I felt like Dr. O'Neale was dismissive of my thoughts and questions about certain components of my Healthcare. While she was extremely thorough in collecting my family's history and hearing about my current concerns, she wasn't open to hearing what I had to say about my thoughts or concerns on my current care. I left with 3 referrals for additional care, and I only truly feel that 1 referral was necessary. I left feeling like I have no say or input in the care I receive. Her bedside manners were also subpar. I didn't feel like she is truly vested in my care.

Dr O'Neal is a new doctor for me and shows more concern and understanding than I have experienced in the past ten years with my previous provider. She speaks clearly and is patient with my hearing challenges. She talks to me like a real person without wasting time. I don't feel rushed and appreciate I am not sitting and waiting so long for care. Her explanations for tests indicate her attention to me as an individual and not just another patient room to check off her box. I believe this is one of the reasons my blood pressure tests well when I come to see her instead of my usual, white coat syndrome, elevated numbers.
