Dr. Tata is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Transplantation at Emory University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Madras Medical College in India in 1989, completed her residency at the University of Texas at Houston Medical Center in 1999, and completed her fellowship in transplant nephrology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Tata is actively engaged in the management of kidney transplant patients, pre transplant and post transplant. She works very closely in managing kidney diseases in other solid organ transplants. Dr. Tata diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases and complications of the kidneys, including kidney stones, chronic kidney disease, renal failure, chronic urinary tract infections, and other disorders that affect the kidneys. Dr. Tata specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems.
