Dr. Joshi took the time to go through my records thoroughly, asked me great questions, and was willing to follow up with two procedures I haven't had to rule out other issues. He truly wants to figure out what is going on. I was just bothered that my follow up visit was scheduled for 3 months, and I left without much of a plan to help ease my pain or condition.

The doctor knew nothing about me or my case. He had done no prep for my appointment and he asked me, Why l was seeing him. He mentioned that l had been thrown off on him!!!

Dr. Joshi is excellent. He has a comfortable demeanor and takes his time to make sure he is on top of the issues, shares the lab results and answers all my questions! He shows concern, listens, and sets clear expectations, while including me in those decisions. I really like him.

My first visit with my doctor was excellent! I like my doctor. From my first visit, I was excited with high hopes for the service and treatment plan. I drive 4 hours each way to come to these appointments coming and going. During this visit I was disappointed. I thought Emory was a higher quality healthcare facility with higher quality care and service. My doctor didn't seem to have a plan before I arrived. The future plan seemed to be made during my visit. We are just trying something. No explanation of why this is happening. He said he was waiting to leave. Told me someone called to see if I was coming. It felt as if him leaving was more Important than me. I did not hear the phone, I was driving to the appointment. I felt rushed to leave. I spent 10-15 minutes with him to drive 4 hours each way; to and from the appointment. Felt discouraged, unhopeful, and disappointed.

Dr. Joshi was amazing - had read all my history and listened to me, then he took the time to give his thoughts and answer almost my questions. He also had a plan of action that made sense and eased my concern. He is extremely knowledgeable and with an outstanding "bedside manner" - friendly, professional, calm. Just outstanding.

Dr Joshi is an exceptional physician. He is very caring and concerned about his patients well being.Highly recommended him.

Dr. Joshi took his time to obtain a thorough history of my symptoms and talked me through his differential diagnosis and management plan. It very much felt that he was taking my symptoms (including a rapid 20 lb weight loss) seriously. However, what bothered me was at the end of the visit, he made a comment as we were walking out that he thought it was "probably just stress" and me "not listening to my body" -- which is rude, considering I had just spent 30 minutes telling him all of my symptoms and that I was particularly worried about the weight loss. He was referring to my job being stressful as an ICU physician, but I have been practicing for over 10 years without these symptoms and nothing else has acutely changed or made work more stressful recently.

I brought something up, & Dr.Joshi just continued to repeat the same things over again without listening to what I had to say about it. He cut me off several times.

My visit with Dr. Joshi actually made me feel that he cared and was not giving up on me. I felt he really cared. I wanted to cry. Mistrust in the healthcare system is easy to develop because you can feel that you're just another problem or hopeless because a resolution to your problem is pushed off with giving you medicine and not trying to find out what's really wrong. Dr. Joshi really wants to find out what is wrong with me and not brushing my s/s off with medicines. I absolutely was shocked and appreciative at the same time! Thank you thank you thank you!

Dr. Joshi was very friendly. He went over former test results I had with me. He asked me a lot of questions. He said, "I want to help you." No Dr has ever said that to me. I was thankful. He told me what test he wanted to schedule and why. I agreed, got the test scheduled and now we wait. Very impressed.
