Dr Read gave me updates about my current health by only looking at the scans. Radiologist report was different from what I was given by Dr Read. I had to read the report myself and found out that there were new occurrences of the cancer in other parts of my body.

Dr Read seems to have dropped the ball with my care so far. I first saw him in September, and in the two months I've been at Emory he has failed to get my MRIs from my previous provider. These results are essential in forming a care plan for me moving forward, and I have continually felt brushed off and forgotten about. Now he is proposing additional biopsy that could have been avoided had he simply procured my images. I'm extremely dissatisfied and frustrated.

My husband was not feeling well after his treatment on Thursday. In addition he had many questions as to why tumors have grown so much so fast after receiving two infusions. His questions were never answered because after waiting 2 hours my husband was in so much pain he could not wait there any longer. No one checked on us in the waiting room for 1.45 hours.

He surprises me almost every appointment over the last year and a half. He doesn't take me seriously and this time he didn't ask me about my side effects from my cancer med. When I told him what I am experiencing, he wasn't interested in it. When I told him how I deal with my seizures and my routine he acted like I was crazy and said that it is not true that anything would trigger my seizures. It is only randomly that they occur. That is not what neurologists say. And that tells me he hadn't taken anything I've said and the severity of my seizures seriously at all over the last two years. Two appointments ago he surprised me by not remembering that my seizures are physical and painful. That blew my mind. That is the whole genesis of how I started on the new path of finding out that my tumor / cancer is back. He is oblivious, doesn't write anything important down. I feel like he's trying to get me angry with him so I start going to another doctor.
