Emory Decatur Hospital

Emory Decatur Hospital offers services to diagnose and treat adults 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Decatur has inpatient beds, inpatient and outpatient electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services, ketamine infusions and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) services. We also provide care in our Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Partial Hospitalization Program and an Adult Intensive Outpatient Program. Our team of physicians, nurses, licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors work together to meet each patient’s unique needs.

As part of Emory Healthcare, our patients have access to a multidisciplinary team of experts, clinical trials providing new treatment options and other available resources through Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Combining experience, expertise and compassion, Decatur’s breast center was designed by women for women to encourage candor and understanding about the issues related to breast disease.

Our emergency department is staffed by specialty-trained, board-certified physicians as well as emergency medical care nurses certified in trauma care and advanced cardiac and pediatric life support. Emory Decatur Hospital provides Atlanta emergency medical services to over 65,000 patients each. You will find expert care for cardiac emergencies, as well as surgical, orthopedic and gynecological procedures.

Our cardiac and vascular team is dedicated to improving your heart health. Our cardiologists (heart doctors) help you identify, treat and manage many cardiovascular conditions. We have also expanded our services through a new cardiology clinic and increased our vascular services for patients.

The Heartburn Solutions Center is a unique program designed to help people with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), whether experiencing heartburn or the chronic cough associated with Silent GERD.

It is also home to the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program which specializes in diabetic foot care, preventing foot problems, common foot and ankle problems, and surgical solutions.

Primary care is your first stop for health care. Our team is comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who focus on the overall health and wellness for you and your family.

Emory Decatur Hospital offers state-of-the-art radiology and medical imaging services and facilities for a variety of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging procedures. Outpatient services are offered at the outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center and Comprehensive Breast Center.

Emory Decatur Hospital offers both an inpatient rehabilitation center and a full array of outpatient rehabilitation services. Our rehabilitation teams are trained and certified in a variety of areas, including pulmonary rehabilitation, lymphedema therapy, hand therapy, occupational rehabilitation, audiology, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and more.

Our Wound and Hyperbaric Center location at Emory Decatur Hospital provides specialized treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, for chronic or non-healing wounds. These include sores or wounds that have not gotten significantly better during regular treatment.
