About

Amit M. Saindane, MD, MBA is the Chair of the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences as well as Chief of Radiology Service for Emory Healthcare. He previously served as Interim Chair and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs for the department as well as Associate Chief of Radiology Service for Emory Healthcare. He additionally is a professor in both the departments of Radiology and Imaging Science and Neurosurgery of the Emory University School of Medicine.

Dr. Saindane is a member of the Division of Neuroradiology where he interfaces closely with the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Otolaryngology to provide expert image interpretation and aid in managing difficult clinical problems using advanced imaging techniques across Emory Healthcare sites. He has achieved clinical distinction as an Eminent Physician in the Emory School of Medicine.

Dr. Saindane's research interest is in application of advanced magnetic resonance imaging techniques to improve understanding, diagnosis, and follow-up of neurological disorders. His research focus is in imaging of intracranial pressure disorders and obesity.
