I definitely will recommend this physician. She's easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I like her easygoing demeanor.
Dr. Mensa was very personable. She asked many questions to discover why I continued to have itching after so many doctor visits. She then summarized her findings to ensure she was on the right track. Her bedside manner is commendable!
I have complicated issues with reactions to some of the most helpful meds. She took a lot of time asking questions, verifying previous treatments & reactions to meds. I never felt rushed. She was a good listener.
On a scale of 1-10, Dr.Mensa was an easy 200! I have never had any MD invest so much time and interest in taking such a thorough medical history. She did so with a great deal of care, interest and teaching as we went along. My pulmonary status, while not as serious as what I am sure she sees regularly, it is really serious to me. I felt that my concerns were heard and valued. There is zero doubt in my mind that I am in good hands with Dr. Mensa. Emory is fortunate to have such a wonderful physician and human being in it's system!

Extremely thorough and attentive
Dr. Arrey-Mensah dint rush to look at my chart, she asked me how I was feeling and got my story from the beginning. So many doctors Ive seen have looked over my chart, and just disregarded how I was feeling. When you're dealing with autoimmune, this is so aggravating. It takes someone like her - she takes in the full picture.
This is the most positive experience I have at Emory or any organization. I have numerous health issues with some that have been lingering for some time. I have been to numerous doctors and I get the same treatment whick is steroids and antibiotics. This is my first doctor that I feel confident is going to get to the root of the problem rather then give me a prescription and send me on my way.

Dr. Bei (sp?) is a resident/fellow working with Dr. Mensah's mentorship/supervision. Dr. B explained the process of assessing medication allergies clearly and made determinations to remove selected medications from my list of allergies, which I agree with and was relieved to have done. She also answered a few other questions I had about insect sting and alcohol reactions. She made me feel comfortable discussing potentially sensitive topics. Dr. Mensah joined the visit to review Dr. B's findings and recommendations and concurred. Her presence and review were reassuring. I truly appreciate Emory's commitment to training health care providers and developing the future medical workforce.

Dr. Arrey-Mensah listened carefully and patiently as my two small children constantly interrupted and made noise. She was thorough, focused, did a good physical, and restated the plan before we finished. She spent a lot of time with me and my husband discussing my symptoms and getting more detail about them. While leaving I bumped into something and she showed concern and even rushed to see my skin reaction to the scratch. I didn't realize until later that she was still assessing me then as we left! You can tell she loves what she does.
