Benjamin Arjuna Fernando, MD

I earned my undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University in New York, graduating Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.  I went on to do research at Cornell Medical Center and University of Mississippi Medication Center.  I attended St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed Family Medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
I am affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. I have been practicing medicine in Georgia for the past 13 years. 
I care deeply about seeing the whole person—not just their symptoms. My goal is to understand each patient’s unique story, values, lifestyle, and health goals so we can work together to create personalized care plans that support long-term wellness. I am committed to promoting preventive medicine, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
My mission is simple: to be a trusted advocate for my patients, helping them achieve their healthiest lives while ensuring they always feel valued, supported, and cared for.
