Benjamin Ford, MD

Benjamin C. Ford, MD is a vascular surgeon and assistant professor at Emory University dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of vascular disease, including carotid disease, dialysis access, venous disease, visceral arterial disease, and aneurysmal disease, with a special interest in peripheral arterial disease and chronic limb-threatening ischemia. A native of New York City, Dr. Ford earned his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University. He received his medical degree from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. He completed his integrated vascular surgery residency at the University of Rochester, training in both open and endovascular techniques for the treatment of arterial and venous disease, as well as electing for an additional year for research and training in analytic epidemiology.

He is active in the academic vascular surgery community, having served on committees for the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society and the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery. He is a member of these and other vascular surgery societies including the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Ford brings his training and passion for vascular care to Emory University Hospital Midtown.
