Yes, this was an excellent experience. I didn't know what to expect, I had met with another neurologist a few years ago, he retired. He spoke at me and offered me medicine and when I said that I'm allergic to many medicines and I was wondering if there were other options to try he said no, and he got up and he walked out of the room and left. But this doctor that I saw Emory, listened, asked questions offered suggestions, all of which were helpful! I am eager to hear his opinion at my next visit.

The doctor was great! He explained the causes of migraines, the mechanisms by which pain occurs, treatment options, how the treatments work to reduce pain, potential side effects, and holistic steps to reduce the likelihood of migraines. He explained things in an approachable way with an appropriate amount of detail. He was also affable and made me feel understood.

Dr Rhyne was awesome. He smiled & asked how I was doing. He listened & explained what he was doing with the Botox injections, Also he told me each area he was doing the treatment in and asked what areas the migraines usually started. I liked the doctor very much...that's unusual for me.

Dr Rhyne is an excellent communicator-- he explains everything completely without frustration when needing to repeat or when this patient asked manymanymany questions--was welcoming of alllll questions and concerns of this patient. Many Drs get defensive and say "I'm the Dr, just do as I say," or "you ask toooooo many questions." Dr. Rhyne was a pleasant and appreciated physcian resource that makes me very hopeful for uncovering multiple diagnoses on my health journey. I am sooooo glad EMORY has established this headache department...I feel very hopeful about resolution and care for my healthcare issues.

Dr. Rhyne was thorough and answered all my questions. He explained the various treatment options that are available.

I saw two doctors about my cluster headaches prior to Dr. Rhyne, all of which gave me medication which I told them I did not want to take and wanted to discuss other options. They would not discuss other options with me. I was frustrated with my previous care. I had asked previous doctors to prescribe me the medication that was described as the best course of action for cluster headaches. However, they never would and their only sited reason was "we don't like to prescribe those in the home." When I saw Dr.Rhyne he immediately prescribed the medication to me without me even bringing up my previous experience with the other doctors. He also gave me two other medications to use in addition to the one I had wanted to make sure my headaches were taken care of. He listened to my concerns, validated my situation, and I left feeling incredibly happy and hopeful that my cluster headaches will be improved. I am very thankful to have gotten this care.

I felt listened to, like I actually finally was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, all I've wanted since getting sick is for someone to help me get out of it, not just support me while it's happening, and for once I didn't leave feeling like there was no point in the appointment.

Dr. Rhyne was the most incredible doctor I have ever met. He was able to identify the root of my chronic condition that doctors for over a decade have not been able to identify. He was compassionate and saw how chronically under treated my condistion has been. I almost cried from the relief from his treatment. He also had a resident with him and he was an amazing teacher to him. I would send anyone to him in a heartbeat to receive care.

After a long line of incompetent medical facilities and providers, it was such a huge relief to finally have a doctor who was understanding, confident in his diagnosis and treatment and who didn't act like we were bothering him! Dr. Rhyne and staff is the best and we are so very thankful that we found them and Emory.

I did recommend him to my daughter. I've been suffering with headaches all my life. I thought I tried everything. He introduced me to new methods kindly and explained to me how they work and how they are different from what I've tried. Highly recommend him, and in fact, I left and told my daughter if it turns out she needs him (she's getting treatment for chronic sinus issues) to definitely set an appointment with him.

Dr. Christopher Rhyne was single-handedly the best doctors appointment I've ever been to in my entire life. I've been dealing with chronic health issues for 10 years, almost 11 years and he was the single most helpful I have ever had.

Dr. Rhyne was such a good listener. He took the time to really listen and showed concern for what I had been experiencing. He was able to explain to me what my symptoms meant and the possible ways that might bring relief. He gave me treatment options and included me in every step of the process. I finally felt heard by a doctor and felt like I finally received a diagnosis that made sense and that could be properly treated. I would highly recommend Dr. Rhyne and the Emory headache clinic.

I was so happy when Dr Rhyne decided to move to Emory so that I would be able to have him to treat my migraines again. He is the most knowledgeable and patient focused Dr I've ever seen.
