Claudia Amaral joined Emory as a 2025 Pediatric Fellow and has continued on at Emory as a member of the Comprehensive Ophthalmology team. Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Amaral completed her undergraduate degree from Haverford College and went on to complete her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
