Courtney Oshiro, PA-C, is a physician assistant in thoracic oncology at Winship Cancer Institute who is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care. She combines clinical expertise with a patient-centered approach, ensuring patients and their families feel supported, heard and informed throughout their cancer journey.
Courtney has nearly a decade of oncology experience, including four years in inpatient medical oncology and additional experience in community hematology and oncology. This background gives her a broad understanding of cancer care, from acute treatment to long-term survivorship. She cares for patients with complex conditions and supports Winship's clinical research program and clinical trials, helping expand access to innovative therapies.
In addition to her clinical practice, Courtney serves as lead advanced practice provider for the thoracic oncology team. She is passionate about education and mentorship and serves as a preceptor for advanced practice provider students and fellows. She also oversees hands-on training as simulation coordinator for the Winship APP Fellowship Program.
Courtney earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Yale School of Medicine.
