Dr. Wilingham is an outstanding doctor. I totally trust him fir my care and during my procedures such as previous ERCP as well as coming up with a monitoring & management plan. I travel 2 hours to Emory for care; but again It Is so worth It for his care. At my appointment he mentioned he is leaving in June 2026. I was saddened to hear. He will be missed and Emory is losing a great physician; however wishing him the best in his next segment of life.

Good

As a registered nurse for 50 plus years and a patient of Dr Willingham's for approximately six or seven years, any words I use to describe the confidence I feel related to his knowledge and medical practice, pale in comparison to his authenticity, professionalism, knowledge and kindness.

Dr. Willingham is hands down one of the most attentive and compassionate Doctor I've ever met. He listens to any concerns and is truly interested in the health of his patients. I can see why it's a long wait to get an appointment. Clearly, I'm not the only one that feels that way.

Very thorough. I brought in outside records and did a great job reviewing the records and addressing my 4 concerns. I drive 2hours to get there and he made it easy to do my blood labs same day following appointment. I had my next surgery scheduled prior to leaving office. Follow up via my chart for labs was prompt. Excellent doctor and also a great resident doctor (student).

Both Dr. Willingham and Resident were easy to talk with, attentive and thoroughly and gently probing, exposing and exploring other possible problems and potential treatments.
