My dr took a great deal of time with me. I never felt rushed, and I never felt spoken down to. She was wonderful and very patient.
After 2 years of chemo/infusions, I've had no treatments for 9 months and 3 CT scans. We've been discussing whether to continue this pattern at the end of the year without treatment or decrease CT scans to biannually. My lung cancer is still present but has not spread during this time. I am very pleased in the results so far.
Dr. Carlisle explained the type of cancer, next steps & possible treatments clearly for me to take understand. I was able to answer my family's questions about my status - great relief to them.
Kudos to Dr. Carlyle for keeping me going 7+ years and always having a new plan!
