Dr. Khoury is a board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist capable of performing a wide spectrum of minimally invasive and image-guided procedures. These include embolization procedures such as thyroid artery embolization, geniculate artery embolization, prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, hemorrhoidal artery embolization, pulmonary arteriovenous malformation (AVM) embolization, type 2 AAA endoleak embolization, penile venous leak embolization, and embolization of any trauma or active bleeding.

Hepatobiliary interventions he offers include TIPS, biliary stent placement, retrograde transvenous obliteration, portal vein embolization, and biliary endoscopy with associated interventions (lithotripsy, stone extraction, radiofrequency ablation).

Genitourinary interventions include nephrostomy, nephroureteral and ureteral stent placement.

Interventional oncologic treatments he performs include a newly offered trans-arterial microperfusion (TAMP) for locally advanced pancreatic cancer, y90 radioembolization, pre-operative embolization of tumors, and percutaneous microwave and cryoablation of tumors.

He additionally has interest in both superficial deep venous interventions including GSV ablation, management of pelvic congestion syndrome, central venous recanalization, complex IVC filter retrieval, dialysis interventions including fistulagram, varicocele embolization, gonadal vein embolization, thrombectomy and venous stenting.

He also offers pain interventions not limited to epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks in varying locations, cryoneurolysis including intercostal and splanchnic nerves, kyphoplasty, spine jack augmentation, and sacroplasty.

After completing his training in New York at Northwell Health, Dr. Khoury is now an Assistant Professor in the Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and is building new service lines to help offer a wider spectrum of procedures. Dr. Khoury holds Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI®) certification, the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation.
