I am the Medical Director for the Emory Adult Congenital Heart Center. With board-certification in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric cardiology, my clinical expertise crosses the entire spectrum of congenital heart diseases among pediatric and adult patients with focus on cardio-obstetric care of women with congenital heart disease who are pregnant or need advice on the cardiovascular risks that might be associated with pregnancy.
My goal for you is to be a trusted partner in your care - helping you understand your condition, navigate complex decisions, and stay connected to the right care at every stage of your life.
I served in the United States Navy Medical Corps Fleet Marine Force, attaining the final rank of Commander before honorable discharge in 2006. My final active duty assignment was as Battalion Surgeon for 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division on deployment to Al Anbar Iraq in 2004. Still serving the veteran community, I provide volunteer assistance on behalf of military veterans in Georgia through several veteran support organizations.
