Joshua Wendling, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult primary care and internal medicine. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University in Atlanta. Before joining Emory, Josh gained experience in acute and outpatient settings, including the Grady Emergency Department and several primary care practices across metro Atlanta. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, having completed a 2014 Appalachian Trail thru-hike, playing piano and guitar, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their black lab, Moose, in East Atlanta Village.

Best first impression for establishing care I've ever had with a primary care provider! Josh was thorough, kind, and punctual (when is a provider ever on time?!?). I can already tell he is empathetic, a great listener, and wants to include patients in their plan and promote shared decision-making.

The interaction I had with Joshua Wendling was one of the best patient / practitioner experiences I've had in a while. He was welcoming, friendly, approachable, and easy to talk with and listen to.
