About
Michael is a graduate from the Mercer University Physician Assistant program. He attended Georgia College & State University where he also pitched on the baseball team. After working one year as a PA in a medical surgical ICU, he began working in orthopedic surgery with experience in sports medicine, total knee and hip replacement, and hip preservation procedures. He works alongside Dr. Brian Muffly, assisting in clinic and the operating room in hip preservation and adult joint reconstruction care. Additionally, he provides conservative (non-operative) treatments for hips and knees. He grew up in Dalton, GA and has called Atlanta home since 2017. Outside of work, Michael enjoys staying active playing rec sports, as well as spending time outdoors with his wife.
