About
Dr. Sridhar is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon. Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, where he witnessed their 2001 National Championship at the Rose Bowl. He attended medical school at the University of Florida, completed his residency at Emory University where he met his wife while she was in business school, and completed his fellowship at Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Dr. Sridhar spent the first 13 years of his career at an academic, level-1 trauma center in Greenville, South Carolina and decided to return to Atlanta to practice at Emory because of his family's love of the city along with his continued passion for academics and education. He is an expert in advanced fracture care throughout the upper and lower extremities. He has a particular interest in pelvic and acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures, the systemic and local physiology of traumatic injuries, soft-tissue coverage, remedies for musculoskeletal infection and fracture nonunion/malunions, trauma-related hip/knee/shoulder reconstruction, and fragility fractures and bone health.
