Dr. Bhatia is an assistant professor of medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He graduated from the George Washington School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology fellowship, and Cardiac Electrophysiology fellow at Emory University. In addition, he spent an additional research year at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA to develop applications of digital medicine and artificial intelligence in cardiology as well as medical device development.
His clinical expertise includes implantation of pacemaker and defibrillators and ablation of complex arrhythmias including supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and ventricular tachycardia. He has clinics both at Emory Midtown in Atlanta, GA and Tanner Medical Center in Carrolton, GA.
Dr. Bhatia has a strong research interest in applications of machine learning in cardiac electrophysiology, specifically in relation to cardiac signals.
