Dr Iyengar is the best!

Doctor Iyengar brilliantly informed and examined me. His professional direction is helpful, hopeful and soothing.

Dr Iyengar was great. He listened to my concerns and seemed to have anticipated them. He explained things thoroughly and in a way I could understand. He gave me options for moving forward and told me what his first choice would be. He took his time and made sure to be thorough.

So impressed that Dr Iyengar actually sees his patients. My other experiences are all nurses or PA's never seeing a Dr.

I am so impressed by Dr Iyengar's delivery of my change in treatment plan. My new treatment plan information was delivered with care assuring my understanding. I greatly appreciated him giving me time to process and hear what he was saying. His composure, eye contact and calmness in delivery of information was a real asset in keeping me calm. I wish all Dr's were as patient and kind as Dr Iyengar.

Dr. Iyengar answered all of my questions in a way that I understood and I knew that he was really listening to what I was asking by his compassionate and detailed responses. I greatly appreciate that he took the time to take my concerns seriously about my blood test results. I felt reassured that there was no immediate reason for my level of concern over one slightly "abnormal" result and that we would discuss it again if the numbers continued to exponentially trend higher. I value his knowledge and experience and I felt like an enormous weight had been lifted from me. Knowing that I don't have to carry the burden of interpreting every blood test result by myself is a luxury that I haven't had with cancer treatments in the past at other hospitals.

Despite learning that I needed to have chemotherapy, this was a good experience. All of my questions and concerns were taken very seriously and answered in a thoughtful and knowledgeable way. I really appreciate his ability to be compassionate when the news is not something that anyone wants to hear.
