Oluwafeyikemi Oritseetsolaye Okome, MD

Dr. Oluwafeyikemi “Kemi” Okome was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn. He completed his undergraduate education at Amherst College with honors in a degree in German Language and Literature. He earned his MD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed his ophthalmology residency training at Montefiore Einstein Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.

His areas of interest are cataract surgery and intraocular lenses, patient advocacy, and helping his patients understand the clinical and surgical management of glaucoma.

When away from work Dr. Okome enjoys learning about other cultures through food, baking cinnamon rolls, and the New York Times Crossword, Wordle, and Spelling Bee.
