Dr. Dsilva is great. She is very smart and knows her stuff. I am able to open up to her about little things and she takes all that information into account. She understands I am taking my issues seriously and that I do my best to research and learn about them. Diabetes is a total lifestyle change and I have felt so much better in the last 12 weeks than I have in the last 2.5 years in the WellStar system. If I had had this level of care then, I would have been able to control this earlier. Dr. Dsilva is my most important Doctor and I respect her abilities. Endocrinology is like a puzzle box where so many symptoms can overlap other issues. She is a smart lady and I am Thankful to have found her at this stage If my life.

Everything was fine. She was thorough with the answers and explanations she provided. I think we kind of glazed over the root of my concern more than I would have liked to. I still don't have a solid answer as to "WHY" my insulin is so high. The only thing any doctor can really tell me is "lose weight" ... Which is what I've been doing. It's just extremely hard or I can't at all.
