Board-certified breast surgical oncologist Priscilla McAuliffe, MD, PhD, FACS, specializes in the treatment of breast diseases. Her clinical and research interests include invasive lobular breast cancer, ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), breast cancer in premenopausal and older adults, breast-conserving therapy and locally advanced breast cancer. She is an attending physician who works closely with the multidisciplinary breast cancer team at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Dr. McAuliffe is an associate professor in the Division of Breast Surgery within the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine.
She earned her medical degree with honors in research from Cornell University. Dr. McAuliffe completed her general surgery residency at the University of Florida, where she also earned a PhD in molecular genetics. She then completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Dr. McAuliffe has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, abstracts and book chapters.
