Beyond excellent. One on one at bedside Dr. Chakkalakal was focused, she was familiar with me & my history, she presented observations, a plan of care, knowledge, COMPASSION, she listened. I felt like I was the only patient at Emory & that everyone there was on my team of care. This is significant to all patients but to this senior patient it is everything to me. Dr. Chakkalakal is a healer of the most precious kind. Thank you. She embodies everything Emory.

Dr. Chakkalakal is the BEST! She had thoroughly reviewed my chart and took time to discuss each of the many specialty visits I've recently had and those that are upcoming. She provided clear direction as needed for managing my medications, schedule, communication with specialists. She took care to only order necessary lab tests since I will have lab work done next month with hematology. She is incredibly kind, skilled and thorough. I am in excellent hands!

Her affect is gentle and caring yet she Is thorough, efficient and professional. Even though I know she is VERY busy, she never rushes and she makes you feel like you are her highest priority.
