The doctor had a very off-putting "bedside manner." When he walked in the room, he did not extend a handshake or greeting and then immediately pulled out his phone to respond to some kind of text or message. While I understand that he may have been on-call or responding to an urgent message, he could have said, "Excuse me, I have to respond to this" but he said nothing. Other than when he was listening to my heart/lungs, he backed himself into the corner of the room by the door, basically getting as far away from me as possible. As I was checking out, he came back into the hall and said he wanted to put me on another medication. It was inappropriate for him to discuss this in front of other staff or patients who may have been within earshot; he should have asked me to go back into the exam room if he wanted to discuss something about my care. I will not be scheduling with this provider again.

Ironically Dr. Lin seemed perplexed on why I was even there. It was very off putting and disconcerting to say the least. I've been attending this practice well over 10 years and have not encountered such a poor disposition by any doctor. Dr. Lin could use another credited class of "Bed side manner for Patients".
