Steve Daniel Watts III, MD

Dr. Steve Watts was born and raised in South Georgia. He completed his undergraduate education at Valdosta State University, graduating in 2015, and then attended medical school at the Medical College of GA, graduating in 2019. Dr. Watts completed his general surgery residency at Brookwood Baptist Health System before joining Emory’s general surgery office in Warner Robins, Georgia in 2024. He is board certified through the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He specializes in robotic and minimally invasive surgery of the abdomen. In addition, Dr. Watts is well-versed in gallbladder surgeries, hernia repairs, colon and rectal surgeries, disorders of the thyroid and parathyroid, skin and soft tissue conditions, and endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Because of his personal connection to the middle Georgia community, Dr. Watts is very passionate about providing compassionate and effective care to the patients he serves. In his free time, Dr. Watts enjoys hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities, and his favorite pastime is traveling and spending time with his wife and two sons.
