Dr. Baliga is an associate professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Emory in 2026, he served on the faculty and as clinical director of pediatric proton radiation oncology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Baliga received his medical degree with research distinction from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He completed a fellowship in pediatric proton therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.
