Dr seemed knowledgeable & did convey some stuff to me in a way I could understand. However, her "bedside manner" was horrible. She seemed very cold/uncaring/disinterested. She seemed to be frustrated with me (admittedly, I've not been taking care of myself as I should), and when she ordered that I should get a couple different ultrasounds to explore unusual vaginal bleeding, she didn't even explain what those procedures would entail. Under different circumstances I would have asked for more info about that & some other things, but given how uncomfortable I was I went home & looked things up online. And, the next morning I called the clinic & requested transfer to a different dr. Everyone else I've encountered at Emory has been pretty great, this was a major exception.

Dr Vishawanathan went well beyond to ensure I was properly cared for. Once she reviewed my just taken bloodwork, she insisted that I be admitted thru the ER. Once admitted, her team continued to monitor my progress. She clearly wanted to ensure I was immediately treated across three care teams; hematology, gastrointestinal and cardiology. Also scheduled followup visit and infusions before I left. Well done.

I was very impressed with Dr.V. This was the first time that our paths have crossed. She was very.professional, cordial, and did a great job of gathering my medical history and assessing my medical needs. Moreover, Dr.V devised and involved me in an effective treatment plan for my individual needs. She has an awesome knowledge base and displayed a deep concern for my health and well being. I consider myself truly blessed to be provided such wonderful care by Dr.V.!!

Doctors and their assistants are very good.

Dr Vishwanathan spent the needed time to fully diagnose my condition through a long series of blood tests. She not only conducted tests for the obvious, but also conducted numerous tests to eliminate many others. Left no unknowns. She correctly diagnosed my anemia and put in place a plan to determine the source and corrective program. Her work along with an outside of Emory endocrinologist, my condition was successfully treated. She now has me in a three month follow-up program. I understand she is new to the Emory Hematology staff. I feel she is an excellent physician based on the care she provided me. I highly recommend her to others seeking hematology care.

Dr Vishawanathan is an outstanding young physician. Her knowledge and experience is well beyond her age. She is very aggressive and thorough Leaves little to chance. Wants answers based on texts and science.
