Thomas Bigham, MD

Thomas Bigham, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with subspecialty expertise in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. He is a Georgia native. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Davidson College and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. He completed his Internal Medicine training at Emory University School of Medicine, Adult Cardiovascular Disease at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. His Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology training was completed at Emory University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiovascular Disease, and Echocardiography. His clinical interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, transplant cardiology, cardiogenic shock, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
