Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program
Find Dedicated Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Care at Emory
If you have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), you need lifelong care to protect your heart. Emory Healthcare’s Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program is the only clinic in Georgia dedicated solely to HCM, and recognized by the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association.
Our HCM clinic offers patient-centered care that is specific to your needs. Our team of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiac electrophysiologists work with you to determine which treatments are best for you. From genetic testing to minimally invasive surgeries, we provide the care you need to manage HCM and keep your heart healthy.
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy often affects young athletes. That’s why we work closely with Sibley Heart Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to care for patients of all ages. Our partnership has a long history of excellent, innovative care.
What To Expect at Your First Visit
During your first visit, we’ll discuss your medical history. We will talk to you about your symptoms, any health conditions you have and any previous test results. Our doctors clearly explain any test you need to have or what treatment options may work best for you so you can make informed decisions about your care.
