Behavioral Health Services

Emory Decatur Hospital offers services to diagnose and treat adults 18 years and older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Our hospital has inpatient beds, inpatient and outpatient electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) services, ketamine infusions and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) services, an Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Partial Hospitalization Program, and an Adult Intensive Outpatient Program. Our team of physicians, nurses, licensed social workers, and licensed professional counselors work together to provide care for our patients' unique needs.

Cancer/Oncology Care

At Emory Decatur Hospital, we offer a full complement of diagnostic, treatment, and support options for our patients with cancer. As part of Emory Healthcare, our patients have access to a multidisciplinary team of experts, clinical trials providing new treatment options, and other available resources through Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, Georgia’s only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center.

Comprehensive Breast Center

Combining experience, expertise and compassion with a dedication to each woman's physical and emotional well-being, the comprehensive breast center was designed by women for women to encourage candor and understanding about the issues related to breast disease. Our technologists are highly trained in breast cancer testing and have earned special certification in mammography.

Comprehensive Weight Loss Center

The Comprehensive Weight Loss Center at Emory Decatur is made up of experts in the field of weight loss surgery who specialize in Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, Loop DS and Lap Band procedures with complication rates well below the national average.

Emergency Department

Our emergency department (ED) is staffed by specialty-trained, board-certified physicians as well as emergency medical care nurses certified in trauma care and advanced cardiac and pediatric life support. Emory Decatur Hospital provides Atlanta emergency medical services to over 65,000 patients each year in emergency medical care rooms designated to handle cardiac emergencies, resuscitation and stabilization, isolation, and surgical, orthopedic and gynecological procedures.

Our Heart and Vascular program focuses on reducing the incidence of cardiac and vascular disease through prevention programs and the latest diagnostic and treatment procedure.

Heartburn Solutions

The Heartburn Solutions Center is a unique program designed to help people with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), whether experiencing heartburn or the chronic cough associated with Silent GERD.

Podiatry

Emory Decatur Hospital is a tertiary referral center for podiatric care, with some of the leading surgeons and educators on foot, ankle and leg pathology.  It is also home to the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program which specializes in diabetic foot care, preventing foot problems, common foot and ankle problems, and surgical solutions.

Radiology and Imaging Services

Emory Decatur Hospital offers state-of-the-art radiology and medical imaging services and facilities for a variety of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging procedures. Rehabilitation Services

Emory Decatur Hospital offers both an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center and a full array of outpatient rehabilitation services providing comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs that optimize patient health, function and quality of life. Our rehabilitation teams are trained and certified in a variety of areas, including lymphedema therapy, hand therapy, occupational rehabilitation, audiology, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and more.

Sleep Disorders Center

Since 1995, Emory Decatur Hospital’s expert Sleep Disorders Center staff and physicians have helped people diagnose their chronic sleep disorders. Our Sleep Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Our staff can develop the right sleep disorder solution to treat your sleep problem.

Wound Care Center and Hyperbaric Therapy

The Emory Decatur Hospital Comprehensive Wound Care Center provides specialized treatment, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, for chronic or non-healing wounds, which are defined as sores or wounds that have not significantly gotten better during the course of conventional treatment.
