Opened in 2005 as part of DeKalb Medical, the hospital joined Emory Healthcare in 2018 and is now part of Georgia's most comprehensive academic health system. For our patients, this means even stronger, more accessible, high-quality care. Our goal is to be a true health and wellness partner to the members of our community. Our physicians and staff are committed to walking with each patient throughout their healthcare journey. Emory Hillandale Hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services, including radiology, surgery, and emergency care. We have a broad range of physicians and specialists on staff with expertise in areas such as cardiology, endocrinology, hematology, orthopaedics and many more. Our facility contains state-of-the-art equipment, including digital imaging machines for CTs, mammograms and MRIs. Whether it’s a serious medical procedure or an on-going treatment, our highly skilled team stands ready to walk with each patient through their unique healthcare journey.

Recognize a Nurse

Want to Thank Your Nurse? We are proud of our nurses and love to acknowledge when they’ve gone above and beyond to take care of our patients and we do so with the nationally recognized Daisy Award program. If you had an extraordinary experience with a nurse, we’d love to hear about it.

Nurses can be nominated and honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's program to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

Each quarter, a nurse will be selected by the Daisy Award Committee for the extraordinary work that they do. The honoree will receive a special statue and certificate commending her or him for being an "Extraordinary Nurse." There will be a presentation given in front of the nurse’s colleagues, physicians, patients and visitors. All nurses who are nominated will be given a Daisy pin to wear on their badge or lapel.
