Classes and Events

We offer a variety of community events, classes and support groups. Some of our offerings include:

Birth Center Tour

Birth Center tours are offered every Thursday at 5:45 p.m. and every Saturday at 9:45 a.m. On the day of your tour, meet us in main lobby of the hospital. We look forward to seeing you!

Super CPR Class

The Johns Creek Fire Department offers free CPR certification courses at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. 

Diabetes Education

We are pleased to announce that diabetes education classes are now available at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. 

Johns Creek Women’s Cancer Support Group

Johns Creek Women’s Cancer Support Groupmeets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the hospital’s education center, lower level. These classes allow participants to meet face-to-face with fellow cancer patients and survivors. The sessions offer helpful coping skills and strategies to help you through your experience. You’ll also hear presentations by health, nutrition, fitness and legal experts.

Bariatric Support Group

The Bariatric Support Group meets the 3rd Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and 3rd Saturday at 10:30 a.m. of each month. All groups meet in the Education Center at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. No registration is required to attend. Our support group is free and open to both pre- and post-operative patients, including patients having surgery from other hospitals and centers. Colorectal Cancer Support Group

The Colorectal Cancer Support Group meets the 4th Tuesday of each month from 3:00 p.m–4:30 p.m. in the dining room, lower level. This group is designed to provide emotional support for patients going through treatment for colorectal cancer or those newly diagnosed and their caregivers.

CLIMB – Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery

CLIMB is a 6-week children’s support group. The group is designed for children ages 6–11 years-old who have a parent or grandparent with a cancer diagnosis. Each week the group focuses on a different feeling and completes an art project to help children talk about those feelings. Registration is required for this group. CLIMB is a national program through the Children’s Treehouse Foundation.
