Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Emory Johns Creek family as a volunteer.

At Emory Johns Creek Hospital, we believe that volunteers add a valued dimension to patient care. We fully recognize that volunteers are an integral part of the care we provide and want you to know we value you, the time you give, and the service you provide our staff, our physicians, and our patients. Your hands will touch many hearts. In addition to providing volunteer support for various hospital departments, the Emory Johns Creek Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary also operates the Gift Shop and hosts several annual fundraisers to provide scholarships to students in pursuit of medical or health care professions.

Emory Johns Creek Hospital College Program

The College Program at Emory Johns Creek Hospital is a 6-week program held each summer for college students. This year’s program will be held from June 5-July 21, 2023 and will include a one-week break during the week of July 4th.  To apply, students must be age 18+, enrolled in a college, university, or higher education program, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students will be required to volunteer for a total of 40 hours of service, which will be scheduled in either two four-hour shifts per week, or one eight-hour shift per week. Students who are accepted into the program and complete the requirements will be eligible to return as a volunteer on school breaks and and/or the following summer.

College volunteers will not provide any type of clinical patient care. Although most of the volunteer work will involve running errands for staff, organizing supplies and completing clerical duties, each task is performed in a hospital setting and will provide a meaningful opportunity for students to learn and explore healthcare careers.

If you are interested in applying for the program, please fill out the following application which is due no later than Wednesday, March 1, 2023:
