Emory Long-Term Acute Care (ELTAC ) facility is designed for patients with medically complex conditions. We specialize in care and rehabilitation for extended periods.

You may be transferred to ELTAC from the intensive care unit (ICU) of a traditional hospital. We offer more individualized care than a skilled nursing facility, nursing home or acute rehabilitation facility.

Our collaborative team crafts your customized treatment plan with a focus on rehabilitation. We use innovative, evidence-based medicine and technology to help you recover.

You need a doctor’s referral to be a patient at Emory Long-Term Acute Care facility. If approved, you’re typically transferred here within 24 hours.

  • We are an acute care hospital. Our facility has the same licensing and inspections that every hospital must have.
