Dr Oskouei has changed my life! Since my right knee revision surgery, I have now QUALITY of life and I can now bend my knee and function without daily pain. You may have "quantity" of days in life but without "quality," life means nothing at all! Dr Oskouei is the ONLY doctor that would take the chance to operate on my knee. I was looking at a "total" removal of my leg above the knee for I was unable to keep from falling and breaking my hands and fingers. I was soon facing moving into an assisted living facility. Now, I can work in my garden daily, walk 2 to 4 miles daily, grocery shop, and more importantly, bend my knee to 70-80 degrees successfully! My life is meaningful, once again! I'm still in PT and will continue for another year to insure movement and containment of the scar tissue from turning to bone. This doctor has shown me a courtesy that no other surgeon has ever done! He cares and needs to be commended for his compassion in aiding others! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dr. Oskouei was *very caring*, he looked at me in my eyes, and addressed the *underlying* problem (or cause) of my joint pain, instead of addressing the *overlying* problem of the joint itself!! He decided to shift the treatment Into finding out the cause of my joint pain (systemically) instead of treating that one joint Itself (which Is what I really believe I needed)! He addressed me with care and concern - and was very truthful and transparent about the whole thing!! His demeanor and beside manner were *very* calming, and reassuring - and I could tell he was very concerned about my condition (and my test results)! He was *very* honest and got to the root of the problem!!! This is what I've been wanting (and waiting) to hear *for years** from other doctors!!!

After waiting 1/2 hour in the cold room, the physicia assistant asked questions, did not examine leg, and informed me that I was the next and the doctor would be in soon. After another 1/s hour, I went to doorway, stopped a staff member and asked if I could be rescheduled. At that point, the doctor and PA came to the doorway and gave a brief explanation concerning the MRI and CT scans taken earlier in the day. There was no examination or real health discussion.
Even though I was not able to see doctor the assistants all very helpful keeping me updated on doc delay. All questions answered to satisfaction.
