I've had 2 doctors so far at Emery, and I couldn't ask for any better people then all of the Emory employees that I have met. They've taken such good care of me, made me feel like I was going to be okay. It meant so much.I wish I could do something to pay it back.
Dr. Kadakia has been amazing during this entire experience. We felt he genuinely cared about all of our concerns and he always answered all of our questions with honesty and grace. Because of God and the wonderful care of Dr. Kadakia, my mom will be able to walk again!

Dr. Kadakia was extremely highly recommended to me as "one of the best foot surgeons in the country", and I have no doubt that he is extremely competent and capable. He is also the only one of three foot surgeons who recommended physical therapy to me, which I agree will be helpful. However, he betrays a certain bias that I will only discuss with him in person, if he is interested. To clarify, it's *not* a negative comment about him. But it's the sort of discussion that I believe should be a physician to physician conversation. :)
Dr. Kadakia took time to make sure I understand all that I need to know. He displayed a very caring and professional demeanor. He even looked a little concerned (for me) about having to do the surgery on my foot a second time. I know he wants the surgery to be a success in eliminating the cyst forever. I trust him to do his very best.

Dr Kadakia spent a lot of time explaining the options for care for my mother. She could have surgery or remain in a boot. Dr Kadakia spent a lot of time with us explaining the pros and cons of each choice. You could tell he had researched my mother's case before we came for our appointment, and was well informed. He was kind and patient, taking extra time to ensure my mother (who is elderly and hard of hearing) understood her options. Dr Kadakia is kind and his clinical experience is outstanding- anyone who is his patient is very lucky.

Dr. Kadakia trusted his clinical observations that the large tear in my peroneal tendon is healing vs the MRI due to my resting it for 3 weeks. I appreciate him opting from the conservative approach. My concern was ongoing pain/swelling knee impacting walking/healing, but appointment was so fast I didn't get a chance to discuss.

My only disappointment is that I was told by the doctor that he would contact my referring doctor for ct results personally and would contact me by Friday. I ending up contacting the office by patient portal the next Monday to be told they were still waiting. I was disappointed that you were not proactive in obtaining the CT results.
Excellent doctor, but I think my case is kind of tough to work on. That being said, he also wasn't aware that I had researched my condition beforehand.

Both doctors took time with me, asked questions concerning my pain and discomfort and did a thorough exam. They made me feel very comfortable considering they both had to examine my feet.
