The pain in my foot is severe when walking. The Dr. Only pressed on my ankle which didn't hurt. I should have walked. Not clear how PT will help. Also why another X-ray?Had X-rays recently + MRI.I wish MRI results were shared visually in greater detail.

The provider was at first very distant then showed concern, however still left without knowing who or when my feet would be corrected. He was very angry that my dr sent me to.him unnecessary. But yet he wasn't the nicest to my con erns or feelings. I left feeling more like a failure and a bother to him than a human.

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-08-28

This is my 2nd experience with Dr Bariteau. I appreciate him seeing me for teleconference this time because I wasn't happy with my office visit the first time. However, even though he answered my questions, ai still feel his bedside manner is rushed and somewhat condescending. Maybe its just his personality but he is just not someone I would be comfortable seeing on a regular basis. I am sure he is a good DR but I don't enjoy his personality or his way of speaking to me. I am glad I gave him a second chance though. The poor man doesn't have a warm bone in his body.

1 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-08-21

Sadly Dr. Bariteau came across as arrogant and did not care to engage me in a discussion about anything other than him doing surgery on me. In the end he told me he did "many of these procedures" about "12 per year, about once a month". Personally that does not sound like a lot of procedures- I felt I was only given one option to pursue a procedure with him or go away. I felt dismissed and my concern was not met with warm compassion. I had a much better experience with the fellow who took time and met me with a compassionate ear.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-08-19

Bariteau listens, he's straightforward and clear (which I love) is empathetic and a human. Same goes for his team AND the people he recommends to me. I feel SAFE with Bariteau, which cannot be underestimated.

Doc Barriteau was efficient with a delightful disposition

1 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-06-18

The doctor provided little guidance on whether to undergo surgery. When asked about the risk of surgery, he rattled off a list of complications as if reading from a text book with no guidance on likelihood of complications developing or regard to my particular condition. What is the point of a medical consultation if the physician won't provide medical judgment (something a patient lacks) on whether surgery would be advised or at the very least provide helpful guidance and information for the patient to make an informed choice? The physician also did not appear to want to be there seeing patients. At no point did he even observe or examine the affected region of my body or go over carefully the radiology results, even though his opinion differed from that of the radiologist. Instead he simply stated his conclusion without explanation or even regard to the radiologist's findings.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-05-08

I understand that Dr Bariteau needs to see and MRI to fully diagnose my injury and recommend a course of action. I am looking forward to that.

3 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-04-15

I feel that Dr Jason Bariteau is an excellent doctor however he needs to slow down a bit when explaining procedures to his patients.?It feels like he's reciting the procedure from Memory Or a lecture . Would be nice if we had a booklet to take a step-by-step during the process of an Achilles tendon reconstruction surgery/removal of a bone spur. Or any other procedure that is being performed. The booklet should also include what the recovery would look like this booklet should be given to the patient before or on the date. The surgery is scheduled . If the patient is educated on the dues and the adults for a particular procedure, it will make the healing process a whole Lot easier.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-04-01

Took care of my wound.

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-29

Dr. Bariteau used inaccessible language while discussing the reason for my visit. He stated physical conditions of my body which were obvious to me as a lazy way of explaining the issues I was dealing with. He was very impatient and did not seem to care about taking the time to really talk about my issues. I was not aware that I was going to undergo an x-ray before speaking with a physician and would have preferred to talk with him first before engaging in that examination.

5 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-27

The only feedback I would give is to slow down a bit. It was all very fast.

2 out of 5 Reviewed on 2025-03-01

Dr. Bariteau spent 15 seconds pressing/ assessing the injured site. Then he said to return after 4-8 weeks, and asked if I had any questions. I had to ask questions about immobilization of injured site; how long to limit standing and walking per day; questions about imaging; when to transition into another type of ortho shoe; weightbearing instructions and precautions. The instructions I received should have been communicated to me, instead of having to ask to obtain the information. In addition, the progress note included a patient instruction that was never communicated to me.
