Not many orthopaedic doctors are educated well on Ehlers Danlos. After a lifetime of bandaid visits, Dr. Wagners knowledge has made me feel encouraged to switch my Orthopeadic and Rehabilitative care to Emory.My one "complaint" about the visit is that I wish he was able to formally diagnose, but I am deeply greatful for him for taking me on as a new patient and believing my lived experience.

Everyone was excellent and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Wagger may be an excellent surgeon, but the degree of interest and empathy he displays is sorely lacking.

As a sole proprietor time is money. Waiting for over an hour just to see the doctor depleted my time for revenue . After being idle for over 8 weeks this is a problem for myself. I'll get over it, but I'm still a bit....

I filled in a detailed description of my symptom then had to explain it to the x-ray tech. Then I had to explain it to the PA - she had clearly not read my chart. THEN when the Doctor came in I had to explain it to ALL to him a 3rd time. Terrible exit experience. The doctor examined me and said HE would return to give me a physical therapy protocol and my prescription. Well the nurse returned with a sheet of paper. If the doc had said, I will send you a sheet of paper that would have been fine. Not only did he not follow-thru with his promise, my medication was not called In - and he wanted me to return to Physical Therapy which he never said. This was very disturbing and I lost trust In his ability to communicate. Communication Is KEY to patient-doctor relationships and trust. I do not like this.

The PA during the visit was excellent. But, after my overall experience there, I'm not sure about referring anyone.

Excellent. Straightforward, knowledgeable, yet sympathetic. Most people I have talked to want to actually talk, face to face with their physician, and come away feeling that they didn't just converse, they were actually heard. (This observation comes from my experience as a nurse, talking to patient, family, and staff, and, as a patient myself). Everyone understands that the number of patients grows each day and the available caretakers cannot possibly catch up..BUT, It is still vitally important to all these people to talk to their physician, the person with medical school, internship, residency, and years in practice under their belt. I valued all my interactions with the team, but talking to Dr. Wagner was essential piece.

No additional imaging ordered beyond X-rays. I still do not know if I have a full or partial tear or multiple tears in my wrist even though I literally cannot click on a mouse without pain

My linering nerve block problem was not fully explored. I'm told do different stretches than what PT recommends. I'm not too happy with wait and see what happens. Prefer referral to massage therapy, infared therapy, alternative therapies that might offer help. For instance, I met a Korean women at LA fitness. She showed me how to use my fingertips on the lane divider ropes to improve nerve conduction and it works!

Since all conservative methods I've tried have failed, I was pretty sure surgery was going to be the next option, so wasn't surprised when that's what he proposed. It was reassuring to know that he has just published on cubital tunnel syndrome with normal EMG results. He didn't dismiss my pain because my results were normal like the neurologist had.

The resident showed concern; the physician may have been concerned, but it was hard to tell. He spoke very little; however, the physician's CV was the best.

My struggle with chronic pain has been very frustrating because of the complexity of my issues. Dr. Wagner is the first physician show genuine interest in finding a solution, scheduling referral appointments with multiple providers who specialize in the problems that cause the most pain and discomfort. My overall experience with Emory has been good, thanks to everyone that's been involved in my recovery.

I took time off of my work day to spend 6 minutes with Dr. Wagner after waiting an hour and a half for my appointment. I left my appointment with no understanding of what's causing my issue. This is my 5th appointment at Emory in the last 4 months and they have all gone this way regarding lack of respect for patients time.

This experience was great. After going to to Emory st Jo I was worried as that experience was awful- Emory on Ortiolane is great
