Crohn's and Colitis

The Crohn's and Colitis Program is dedicated to taking care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which is a group of conditions including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The staff is dedicated to providing patients the best care possible with the integration of specialties that include surgeons, gastroenterologists, nurses, patient care coordinators, and radiologists.

The program believes in personalized care and, as such, has monthly multidisciplinary IBD conferences to discuss individual patients and their optimal care. The program provides a customized plan of treatment and a comprehensive approach to the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.

The Crohn's and Colitis surgeons are skilled in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and robotics. The team of radiologists has extensive experience reviewing CT scans and MRIs in complex IBD patients. The program's colleagues in gastroenterology have an armamentarium of medical treatment, including the use of various biologics, metabolites and combination therapy. They also have expertise in advanced endoscopy and capsule endoscopy. Additionally, the team includes wound ostomy nurses who help tailor care for patients with stomas.

The Crohn’s and Colitis Program serves as a referral center for complex and difficult inflammatory bowel disease. It is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for its patients.
